Cogeco Sagemcom F@ST3896 LAN communication issue

Had the same issue. Sagecom router started acting weird. Smart devices in the house would start losing connection. Ended up buying a TPLink archer AX73. Unfortunately you must call cogeco to have them put the Sagecom in bridge mode... Verify in your new router that the public IP is being passed thro

valve or quest 3?

You’re welcome! It’s just about local network speed. If you get yourself an AX5400, hookup the PC to it you’re set for $150. I use Virtual Desktop which is fantastic for this. https://www.amazon.com/TP-Link-Archer-AX73-High-Speed-Streaming/dp/B08TH4D3QV I tried the cable thing too and honestly it wa

What router should I get under $200?

I have an Archer AX73, supports multiple devices, fast/reliable, can set a lot of settings and has a mobile app for remote control to see all connected devices. Allows you to block devices, see usage amounts per device, and a lot more. Lets you get extenders (RE715X) that are easy to install around

TP-Link Archer GE400 BE65 TP-Link Archer AX73 AX5400 but only has gigabyte port which is good for your speeds as of jow but won't be future ready. More budget friendly: TP-Link WiFi 6 AX1500 Mbps Archer AX10,

Suggestions for my double-NAT problem?

I've been on the same boat recently. Have an ISP provided modem/router that supports only 40 devices total (don't know why). Bought a Tp-link AX73, connected to the ISP router, disabled everything on it, moved all devices to AX73. All of my devices began to work happily... Except my Synology. It can

What is better Archer AX73 + RE705x or RE815XE

It doesn’t even have to be an ax73 and if you’re gonna go to the route of extender, you can also use those as easy mesh, but no wired backhaul if you get another ax73 or something other than an extender, you can run a wired backhaul. Click on the link I put below and it gives you all the list of eas

need help with compatibility

Deco and archer models do not mesh together. The only way to get this to work would be to have the decos in AP mode and leave the archer doing the routing. One of the decos would need to be wired to the ax73 and then put the remaining deco where you need it and it will connect wirelessly to the main

What to get

Since you’re getting fiber internet, you don’t need to buy a modem. The fiber provider will give you an ONT (or a gateway). What you need is a router to handle your home network. Your home is 1,200 sq ft, so one good router is enough. Mesh systems are not necessary unless you have dead zones later.

Looking for new Network Router

If you're doing streaming, gaming and NAS, I'd go for something like ASUS RT-AX86U or TP link Archer AX73 both WiFi 6 stable and strong security updates. Future proof and won't choke under load.
