TP-Link AX53 is a nice router but imo you should've bought any OpenWRT router. SQM QoS would've really come in handy to your home network, to entirely eliminate that bufferbloat on your speedtest.I have a GL-MT6000 router and this is what I'm talking about.

Bridge mode vs pppoe mode, which is better?
Bridge mode for sure, ONT modems like Syrotech,etc are gimped with outdated hardware. I'm running my home network on TP Link AX53 and the network feels far more responsive. If you can have a router with OpenWRT, that would be golden. Just make sure you keep a note of VLan Ids, username, password,etc
