New modem is terrible

Honestly not just you. The old BT homehubs/smart hubs might have been ok, but the new ones aren't. My SH+ was disconnecting constantly, even with a replacement. Best wifi router to get in Sri Lanka ?

Using a TP-Link Archer BE550 (Wi-Fi 7) on SLT Fibre. Zero drops. Honestly, skip Dialog/Mobitel 4G entirely if you want real stability. Just get SLT Fibre, disable their crappy stock Wi-Fi, and plug in your own router. If the BE550 is overkill/too pricey, grab a TP-Link AX53 or AX55 for Rs.~20k. 100%

Any chance of a WiFi 7 Hyperhub being introduced anytime soon?

I did the same. Went for a TP-LINK Archer AX53 as it was half price on Amazon and haven't looked back since. Better coverage, more consistent ping and literally zero downtime since I've had it too
