Damn. I have the same issue. My Tolino Shine Color was happily converted to a Kobo a few weeks ago. when I synced it, it prompted for a firmware update, which I accepted. Now only the very first second after a restart it responds, but that's too short to do anything. So I guess it's 130 euro's down
