Why shouldn’t I buy a Niche Zero [£600]

Especially for light and medium roasts, I would consider the Lagom Casa and the Timemore Sculptors (the 064S and the 078S).

Upgrading from an Encore after 8 years: Varia VS6 vs. DF64V Gen 3? Or Neither? [$1000]

As you lean to the light and medium roast, the Niche Zero, as wonderful as it is (albeit priced (somewhat too high?), and currently with a 25% or more (I can't keep up with it) U.S. tariff), would not be my first choice, from what I see here. I might look at the Timemore 064S and 078S, if you haven'

Shopping grinders

If your budget allows for it, I’d recommend the Timemore 078s but with the SSP burrs. I really enjoy the clarity it brings out for lighter roasts for both espresso and pour over. This was my first flat burr grinder, and admittedly I did have a bit of buyers remorse, questioning whether the upgrade t

Best Grinder for Espresso Only (All roast levels) [Sub $2000]

Timemore Sculptor - not the best for espresso only, some quality issues You may want to reconsider this. I have the 078s and I love it for all brew methods and all roast levels. It blows the doors off of my Niche Zero for light roasts, and is also great for dark. There were lots of reports of qualit

[For sale] nearly brand new Fellow Ode Gen 2 coffee grinder

I opted to change to the Timemore Sculptor 078 since I only care about pour over. Honestly it’s a great grinder if you’re doing a mix of coffee types, everything I’ve read about the 078 just seems to put it in a higher tier. I will also add, I was able to get a killer deal for the Timemore with some

Best grinder to frequently switch from very dark to very light beans for espresso [$650]

I have Timemore 064s and also 078s. Both work well with beans from light to dark and oily. I've never had any clogs. The rotary knocker keeps the chute clean without any need for RDT. With either grinder, you need an aftermarket magnetic dial pointer in order to make adjustments repeatable.

Help me choose a coffee grinder!! [$500 budget]

I would go with a Df64v also available in a gen2. It takes up less space. For those who mentioned 064s, I have a Timemore 078s, which I got at kickstarter price. I love it, but I don’t recommend any Timemore Sculptor if you want easy access to burrs for cleaning, or ever plan to swap burrs. Also, I

How much of an upgrade will this be? [$1000]

I have a Touch Impress and I just bought a Timemore Sculptor 078s. Wife continues to use the Touch Impress internal grinder to make Cold Brew and her other drinks. I use the 078s for espresso and any milk drinks I want. I’d like something more hobbyist eventually, but right now it’s worked well hold

New setup!

After upgrading the built-in grinder in my Barista Express after about 3 years of "hacking" the BE to get decent espresso, I upgraded the grinder to a Timemore Sculptor 078s (Early bird price 😇). Really nice upgrade - also for pourovers and Aeropress, so we got rid of of our big Wilfa Svart. ... Aft

Upgrade from Niche Zero to Flat Burr grinder [$1k-ish]

I've been using a Timemore 078s since January 2024. I recently got a 064s to replace my Niche Zero. Check out my post for more info. I observed a lot of complaints about the Timemore grinders when they were first introduced, but almost no complaints recently. I've heard Timemore made some improvemen
