Hand grinder?

My first espresso grinder was a Timemore Chestnut C3 ESP, which works great, but is a little tedious. It takes me about 45 seconds, but it’s not an easy 45 seconds. I upgraded to the DF54 and have been very happy! I doubt you’ll find a good espresso hand grinder that isn’t tedious

Handgrinder recommendation for a friend [100-300€]

Depends on the price point and the metric. If the only metric is grind quality and the budget is 100-150 yes a hand grinder is more bang per buck.
