Grinder recommendations
Whats your budget?? If it's 6k go for timemore c2s or c3s. If it's more go for izpresso or kingrindek6 But if you are a beginner and just starting. Timemore itself will be a really good option. The c2s is only 4800 rupees and it'll be a really good starting point for you

Manual Hand Grinder for Aeropress?
I use a Timemore C2 (& C3S, I got one as a gift) and both are excellent. No complaints they get the job done and are affordable.

Timemore C2 - 3 yr review - I'd still recommend this now
thank you for the review, and I agree that the C2 was a nice grinder at its time but, now in 2026, it is much outdated, and can not be recommended anymore - mainly due to plastic in its body, which ages and tends to crack, after years of daily usage for a very similar money, Timemore has already rel

What would you do if you had ₹8000 to build a espresso, latte setup(not including beans ofc)
For espresso (or pseudo-espresso): moka pot or Kaldi Press (1.5k INR) For milk frothing: cheap french press (0.5k INR) For grinder: 1Zpresso Q Air (or C2s) around 5-6k INR I'd prefer getting the KaldiPress and extending budget slightly to get the Timemore C3S so that it becomes upgrade proof.

Help for beginners
I love my timemore C3s grinder and timemore scale! Honestly for aeropress you don't even need a scale. It's extremely easy to get good coffee with no fuss from it. Skip the kettle if you don't do pourover. Generally, getting a nice grinder is a priority, and timemore is an awesome budget option

Has anyone used this grinder?
For not expensive look for a timemore c3 or c3s. Excellent grinder. To permanently scratch that itch on a budget look at a Kingrinder k6.

Help choosing a manual grinder
Yes the C3s is enough, see the ranges it has here https://honestcoffeeguide.com/timemore-c3s-grind-settings/ Good that it is all metal. I'd say for that price is a good choice.
