A cheaper alternative is a Timemore C3S at I think $50 in the US? This will do espresso but it takes about 150 turns to do so. There is an aftermarket adjustment ring that gives more settings. I had one for travel and used an adjustment between 6 and 7 clicks. 6 wouldn't pull, 7 flowed way too fast.

Personally, it does not have to be expensive not does it have to be a hobby. I used to use a French Press for close to 6.5 years before I switched to Nespresso. I used a TimeMore C3S as well. It was inexpensive, still took 10-15 mins. I did not mind the time, my gripe was that coffee tasted differen

Well, difficult for me to say one is better than another without an extensive brewing experiment with both. Timemore has priced c3s ~25% more for some reason when both cater to manual brewing and neither to espresso. If both are giving similar output then c2s can be said to be more value for money.

Timemore C5 or C5 ESP - costs about USD 65 on Ali Express (use discount codes, from the front page sales) much better, than any plastic-body grinder, and much better than the C3S, with just a small price difference

Do not buy it waste of money. Save some money and buy timemore c2 / c2s / c3s at least
