Fuck Technics. I paid a fortune for their AZ100 when they came out and one of the drivers died after 6-7 months. Then I waited for 5 months to get them back from the service and then the other one died. Fuck everything about Technics and their shitty products and service.

I use ANC buds every day. Way, way, way quieter than normal foam plugs. I use the Technics EAH-AZ100, but wouldn't recomend them as they have developed what appears to be a common fault and need to be repaired under warranty

thanks for sharing , well in the end i canceled them and went for the Technics EAH-AZ100E-S. i have done my research and way too many complains about these ear buds ,yeah great sound when they decide to work haha , but way too many hassle .so hopefully the Technics EAH-AZ100E-S is a better choice ..

All I can say is that I bought the pro max and have yet to have that anc whine issue - I have had it with Bose QC2 and technics eah-az100. The general advice is to turn down the level of the ANC. Is yours on 5? can you lower it to 2 or 3 and see if it continues?
