Help Choosing a Camera

Tapo C460 (4K) would be sharp enough to see detail, it’s actually one of the cheapest but best quality wireless security cameras as of right now, other than PoE. Though I’m not sure about recommending this due to your lack of WiFi coverage, 4K quality may not load very well. I will say with the sola

Which Tapo battery camera is the best??

First and foremost, they don't record 24/7 otherwise they'll run out of battery real quick; they only do event detection recording on a specific range that you can customize. I have 3 tapo cameras C425, one for the front yard gate, one for the driveway and one at the backyard; for the price and what

Open Source SelfHosted Cloud for Arlo cameras no subspriction required!

No free online storage, but local micro SD storage per camera. I have several of the Tapo C425 cameras with the solar panel add on. They work pretty well, Arlo was a little better in catching movement. But I'm happy with them.

Need advice on a outdoor wireless security camera.

Tapo c425. Battery, easy to mount. Love mine. Has pet detection so it'll only alert when it sees the dog. Zero complaints. They also have solar panel kits available

Thinking about getting Tapo

Bought my first tapo outdoor camera recently, a C425 and I'm satisfied with it. Bought a solar panel as an add-on to provide daily charging so I don't have to worry about charging it every two weeks or so. The event recordings seems fine but only after adjusting the settings to high performance, sin
