Anyone ditch Amazfit for Garmin, Coros, or Suunto regret it, and actually switch back?
Lifelong runner and Garmin user since the original Forerunner 201, with numerous devices from a few brands along the way and now with a Balance 2. I have little reason to consider another brand at this point. Amazfit has fixed or added most of the important things for me as a runner. Sure Garmin has

Finally!
449 Euro in Deutschland. Kein gutes Angebot. Dann lieber eine Suunto Race 2, Polar oder Garmin. Alle haben für den ähnlichen Preis ein viel besseres Ökosystem

Froze mid run
I use race 2 since 4 months. I had 3 restarts during 2 long runs in training and worse, one during my race. During the training it's unfortunate but I can live with it. During my race, I'm only missing 500 meters of 23km because I had the chance to check my watch relatively soon after the bug. I was

Any converts from Suunto here?
So, the OHR is definitely better across all Polar devices, at least prior to Race 2 and Vertical 2. Did a run with a series of strides yesterday: Race connected to H10 on one hand, V3 on the other using its OHR. V3 matched Race beat-for-beat, and that's pretty much has been my experience over the ye

Coros to Garmin back to Coros?
Did this dance too over the past year. Coros pace 3 —> FR965 —> Coros Pace Pro —> Fenix 8 —> Suunto Race 2 (software shit show) —> Pace Pro. Have been very happy with coros ever since.

Finally trying out Coros Nomad!
I'm looking to upgrade from my Garmin Fenix 6S so I'm trying out all the major watches that I could get for under $500. From left to right: Epix Pro 51mm, Suunto Race 2, Coros Nomad. I've used the Epix Pro for around 3 weeks and have to return it soon if I don't decide to keep it. It's an excellent

Frustrated
No, that's just a problem with Suunto watches. But with any watch, if you want accurate data, you need a chest strap or arm band HRM. Garmins are a little better, but my old Fenix 7 failed to capture accurate HR the first time I used it for a race (5K). Lesson learned. Wrist-based just doesn't cut i

Manual Interval+, a SuuntoPlus App for running intervals
Hope this doesn't get taken down by the mods again... Thanks for putting in the work into something we can all benefit from. This looks like a neat extension to the base functionality, especially because I find Suunto still a bit wanting when it comes to structured training. Having just wrapped my k

Suunto Race 2 issues
Yep. I’ve written quite a few posts about my own experience with all of the data discrepancies. It’s very disappointing for this launch. I returned mine as have many other people. I wanted to love the Race 2 but it was a let down so I returned it. Terrific build quality but the software and data int
