Yup it’s all well and good releasing nice looking watches but when the app and bugs are sub par what’s the point? These days a fitness watch is only as good as the software and app that supports the watch. I cannot use a watch where the data between the app and the watch is blatantly different. Fix

I sent my Race 2 back because stuff like this. Suunto need to start a beta program to help with fixing this stuff before they release it to the general public.

Hard to say. I think the only ones who know for certain are Suunto's software development team. For what it's worth, as someone who has had a Race since launch, the watch went through a bunch of significant software overhauls. In its current state it's very different than it was when first released.

I have tested all brands extensively, and during many years. In my modest opinion for that price a Suunto Race 2 is more reliable and with a much better build construction. Amazfit has lost the point. Too many devices, lots of features but infinite bugs and a very poor software base yet.

It's not weird, but simply reflects the fact that Suunto have forked their OS development to the mainline OS (Race, Vertical models) and the Run OS. Release numbers aren't comparable across OS lines. Sadly this increases the development needs and has (so far) resulted in the Run receiving less atten
