Garmin probably has more features and I've used Garmin watches for ages for the fear of missing out but not being a pro athlete suunto covers more then enough of the basics for me. I prefer the look of the race 2 / vertical 2 over the recent Garmin watches and especially dislike what Garmin has done

I'm a long time Garmin user on holiday in Italy at the moment and my Forerunner 945 just died so I looked around for a replacement. The Suunto Race 2 titanium is less than half the price of a FR 970. I have a number of complaints about Garmin and how they treat customers so I thought it would be a g

Had multiple Suunto watches. Currently using the Race 2 and the Vertical Ti Solar. I’ve had no issues. I’m surprised how many people do and not sure if it’s unmet expectations, knowledge or what. Obviously may use social media to put their issues out there. The company could not survive of it was al

You pay a lot more for the Garmin (about 50% extra where I live). I have used Garmins for quite some time - and it was ok. But now they are just too expensive. I have used Coros and they are great for running but I don’t know how they are for other activities. Now I just switched to Suunto (Race 2)

I'm in the same boat. I've been a Garmin user for over ten years, but lately I'm alienated because of their prices combined with lack of effort on their part. Forerunner 970 is one of the laziest products in my recent memory. Given that 970 is not an option for me mainly due to its high price and sh

I have used the T-Rex 3 Pro for about two weeks now, in conjunction with my Helio Strap that I've been wearing for about 4 weeks. And I'd call myself very satisfied so far. I have to mention that these are my first fitness wearables, so I cannot really compare. As a tech savvy and relatively sporty

Plus the Suunto is basically half the price for all the same features - battery life being one of the big ones I looked for. Battery life - even on full multi-system GPS tracking, no battery saving - is amazingly good in the Race. Other watches like the Garmin or Coros have similar great battery lif

I trusted Amazfit ecosystem during almost 2 years. I was sure that with so much potential, they will ultimately polish the software. But they never answer messages, nor address issues. They think that they just need to attract new customers by flooding the market with new devices... But on the other

I get a 20% discount on garmin products and would still not buy a F8PRO. Suunto Race 2 is still a better value. I just wish now the Vertical 2 would be released as that's the one I really want.

I adored my original Race, it was the first smartwatch that really spoke to me. And well things are a little rough with the Race 2 right now, much like the Race 1 at launch, I think it has a lot of potential for growth. There have been a lot of reasonable complaints about the Race 2, I've certainly
