Couldn’t have said it better myself. Been a Suunto fanboy since my Ambit 3 Sport many years ago. They are just streamlined, solid, reliable tanks. Have a Race 2 currently and am just blown away every day with its battery, build and overall performance!

What I'd like to happen - A new marketing department that understands how to sell based on the products strengths, and realises that they also have a line of other products that they need to get out to reviewers such as headphones and hrm bands. A new support system that isn't confusing and let's yo

Please don't make it a smartwatch like some competitors, keep it a product for outdoor enthusiasts. I am with Suunto for reliability and simplicity in the mountains. Improve wrist HR, articulate the bezel on the vertical like the race, keep the Vertical 2 made in Finland.

For me, no notable problems for a month with my Race 2, I'm even super happy with it. It is beautiful, simple and effective, it records what you need when you need it (hiking, running, mountain biking) I think it takes a little time to get to know its owner, but after two weeks already, the sleep tr

I have a FR970 and was wondering whether to sell my FR970 and get a Suunto Race 2. Ultimately, I have now come to terms with the fact that there is no such thing as the perfect watch. All manufacturers have some problems, for example my FR970 doesn't even notice when I go dancing in the evening and

I’ve been using Garmin for most of the last 10 years. I tried Polar for a while, but moved to the new Suunto Race 2 because the HR sensor on the Polar V3 was terrible and the app was honestly a mess. I’m very happy with the Race 2 overall. It’s sapphire glass, so no scratches, has awesome battery li

You pay a lot more for the Garmin (about 50% extra where I live). I have used Garmins for quite some time - and it was ok. But now they are just too expensive. I have used Coros and they are great for running but I don’t know how they are for other activities. Now I just switched to Suunto (Race 2)

I own a Suunto Race 2 for 2 weeks now. Less gimmicks, more real sports features. More reliable, more sports oriented, with a true training load tracking based on TrainingPeaks method. Consistency in data. And some really interesting features (ZoneSense, Lactate threshold test, Cooper test, many inte

I posted something very similar to your dilemma. I’ve been in the Garmin universe for many years and looked at getting a discounted 970. After much contemplation and testing the Race 2 for a week, I’ve decided to stick with Suunto. While it has some noticeable flaws (some data discrepancies between

The new suunto race 2 seems more than competitive to coros alternatives. Check DC Rainmaker/DesFit' s in depth review for that one and the pace pro. Do you feel that anyhitng in particular about coros will be missing if you stayed on suunto?
