how senior is he? Captain / FO don't do walkarounds on the 777, the IRP does the walkarounds. I use a SureFire G2X Pro, but I've found that the tiny flashlights like those and the Fenix dont really work for walkarounds as the light doesn't project far enough to reach the wings or the tail at night..
