How much Grinder actually matters?

Just sharing the upgrade path i took. I got a bambino plus, and a non-esp baratza encore, both new. I got rid of the encore, and bought a well-recommended grinder from aliexpress for around 220 usd (starseeker e55 pro). I feel like i can dial in any bean (havent tried any light roast) which gave me

The elusive dual-purpose grinder: Espresso and Pourover [approx $500 CAD].

As someone who does pourover and spro regularly... Please consider having two separate grinders. You can keep your space savings and come in under budget. The Starseeker E55 Pro is a nice stepless single dose conical grinder with minimal retention. I feel like it does a pretty good job with all type

Ask for recommendation

I can’t compare. But I’m very satisfied with my Starseeker E55 Pro. Both for the OXO Rapid Brewer and for espresso.

O enviado do Brasil geralmente s

Grinder [$350]

I’ll throw my hat in for the starseeker e55 pro. Built like a tank, single doser, and has been handling multiple roasts with ease and very low/no retention. Can be bought for less than $200 too.

Moedores

All the money and hassle is worth it when you can pull a killer shot at home.

Don't get a Bambino, they're really not great. all plastic, can't control temperature or flow rate, they don't heat the portafilter or your cups, temp stability is bad, it gets too hot and scorches your shot if you don't flush it, the list goes on. Every single one of those shortcomings is solved in

Upgrade from Fellow Opus [$300USD]

Check out a Starseeker E55 Pro. Conical titanium coated burrs. Improved ionizer. Very little retention. Covers the waterfront for grind sizes (espresso to filter). Very well made. Surprisingly compact. Amazon less than $300.

Need help deciding what my first grinder will be [$250.00]

Encore ESP for US-based support with a good warranty and espresso focus. Starseeker E55 Pro for metal construction and more versitility with filter. I'm not opposed to flat burr grinders personally, I just want a unit I can easily upgrade burrs, which you cannot with the DF54. Fellow Opus has poor c
