The elusive dual-purpose grinder: Espresso and Pourover [approx $500 CAD].
As someone who does pourover and spro regularly... Please consider having two separate grinders. You can keep your space savings and come in under budget. The Starseeker E55 Pro is a nice stepless single dose conical grinder with minimal retention. I feel like it does a pretty good job with all type

Grinder [$350]
I’ll throw my hat in for the starseeker e55 pro. Built like a tank, single doser, and has been handling multiple roasts with ease and very low/no retention. Can be bought for less than $200 too.

Budget Grinder Options [$350]
I got a starseeker e55 pro and am honestly shocked at how good the espresso it makes is. I’m coming from a k6 manual that is focused more on clarity but the e55 shots just taste better to me. I can imagine the k6 would be better for someone into light roast pour overs with a focus on clarity and fla

Question about Grinders [$300]
I just got a starseeker e55 pro and it’s been nice. Grinds are very consistent and fluffy. With RDT it has basically zero retention. Also very quiet.

Eureka Oro vs… [$700]
Update here - just dialed in the first shots on the Starseeker E55 Pro. Best shots I’ve pulled to date. Such a massive upgrade for me. Very easy to use and dial in. Machine feels extremely solid and well built. Obviously only first few shots but it does need quite a bit of pushing of the bellows to

Grinder Recommendations
One that I got about a month ago and have been very happy with, is the Starseeker E55 Pro. About $200 USD on Aliexpress, and is doing a great job. It grinds smoothly with very little to no retention. They provided an rdt sprayer that I have yet to need to use. Take your savings and buy some good bea

Starseeker E55 pro or encore ESP [£150 budget]
I wish I had experience with the baratza esp but I only have the starseeker e55 pro, however I can say the starseeker has been everything everyone said it is. A joy to use and makes amazing espresso. Zero retention, stepless adjustment, easy workflow. My only real gripe is the giant wall power adapt

Gifted an incredible machine but can’t afford a top tier grinder to match…what’s good enough? [$250]
When my Encore ESP died, I got a Starseeker E55 Pro for ~$200 something (I'm not from the US) on ali express. Having used it for a few months, I can say I'm pretty impressed with the quality. It's considerably better than the Baratza, better build quality, grinds faster, less noise, less retention,

Upgrade from Fellow Opus [$300USD]
Check out a Starseeker E55 Pro. Conical titanium coated burrs. Improved ionizer. Very little retention. Covers the waterfront for grind sizes (espresso to filter). Very well made. Surprisingly compact. Amazon less than $300.

Best coffee grinder under ~[$250]
I can’t compare, because I’ve never had any other electric grinder. But I’m very satisfied with the Starseeker E55 Pro. No fuss. Very easy adjustment (I change grind setting often as I go from espresso to the ORB.) Silent, very low retention. Where I live (humid), no need for RDT. Nice magnetic catc
