How much Grinder actually matters?
Just sharing the upgrade path i took. I got a bambino plus, and a non-esp baratza encore, both new. I got rid of the encore, and bought a well-recommended grinder from aliexpress for around 220 usd (starseeker e55 pro). I feel like i can dial in any bean (havent tried any light roast) which gave me

What are the good Chinese prosumer grinder and espresso machine brands?
I can personally vouch for the starseeker e55 pro grinder. If youre looking for a flat burr option, they just came out with the e64 model

Moedores

Gemilai G3028A - This is our first machine
Thanks! Congrats to you, too. I had initially ordered both colors on Amazon to see how they would look in the space, but ended up cancelling the ivory. Figured we have a lot of white as it is, and it might’ve made our walls look dingy. 🤣 I just placed an order for the Starseeker e55 pro, so that wil

Can't decide what grinder is best for beginner? [$200-300]
another vote here for Starseeker e55 pro with the titanium burrs. Game changer for me after going from a Cuisinart spice grinder to a inconsistent then broken kitchenaid burr grinder, then to a manual K6 (that's now full time in my office for pour overs at my desk) to my daily setup with my Starseek

Upgrade from Fellow Opus [$300USD]
Check out a Starseeker E55 Pro. Conical titanium coated burrs. Improved ionizer. Very little retention. Covers the waterfront for grind sizes (espresso to filter). Very well made. Surprisingly compact. Amazon less than $300.

[~$500 or less] looking for a single dose grinder
This grinder looks like many Chinese 48mm all metal grinders. That's not a bad thing though, the couple I've used have been solid. Another similar option is the Starseeker E55 Pro. You may find it on AliExpress for similar or less, and you get larger titanium coated conical burrs.

best budget grinder [$200]
I just got the Starseeker E55 pro. Small profile but built like a tank. Single doser, titanium burrs and very quiet. Also has a large grind spectrum: espresso to pourovers. Been pleased with it so far!

[$1000 CAD] Grinder upgrade from Baratza ESP: df64 vs Niche Zero vs Eureka Oro?
Niche Zero is not a good value anymore, plenty of better grinders at a lower price point. I'd look into the Starseeker E55 pro, I'm a happy owner of this grinder specially for its price. But honestly, I don't think any of those grinders would be a significant upgrade over the Encore ESP. Specially b
