Printer recommendations

I think buy Sovol if you want to tinker, but you're not ready to build a whole printer yourself. If you just want to print without issues (for the most part) buy another brand, like Bambu or something. I bought my SV08 to tinker with and learn how to modify, and it's given me reason to do so from da

Next Chapter coming soon...

I don't understand it either.I loved the "open source" idea of the SV08, but then I got to know how Sovol actually operates. Therefore, I most probably won't buy another printer from them again.

The H2C Review: Better Than a Toolchanger?

Its perfect for me. Fast prototyping with breakaway supports and two materials, easy with Engineering Materials, Option to do a reasonable multicolorprint, decent size. If this thing works, I am maybe selling all of my printers to leave the emtional damage behind. Ender 3 v3 se. Money grave, only re

Almost ready to give up on my SV08

For calibrations I mean e steps, flow rate, temperature, retraction, and similar. For me, the best way to calibrate a 3d printer and filament profile is using Ellis tuning guide: https://ellis3dp.com/Print-Tuning-Guide/ He uses some custom gcode or stl, but many test files can be replaced with the o

Centauri Carbon 2 *Official Release*

That’s what happened to me with the sovol sv08. It was riddled with issues and then they release a new version of it with all the issues fixed and the extras people did already installed. I’ll never buy a sovol because of that.

Issues printing PETG, going crazy.

The only time that I have had issues printing PETG on my CC1 was when it was not dried. Apart from that, I leave everything at default, don't even bother with the specific brand of PETG (I just use Generic profile) and it prints great. My problem printer is my SV08. That thing requires a lot of baby

Sovol Toolchanger — More details from last weeks livestream

This printer won't break down like the SV08 and SV08 Max, so shipping costs will be a major concern here for Sovol. If I had to take an educated guess, I'd say this machine is 350mm³ max; 300mm³ would be more likely. It'll be larger than the U1 and Creator 5, but not by a huge margin.

V-Core 4.1 (500mm) — reliable enough for daily small-business use? And can you buy it pre-built?"

What type of material are you planning to print? I have a rat rig v-core 4.1 IDEX 500. I print high end engineering filaments. I converted mine to run Klipper so that I could drop the VAOC for nozzle offset calibration, added dual 1500w chamber heaters, changed the hot ends to water cooled, cpap for

Having some issues with 0.2mm printing

Thanks. I normally print 0.04 mm layers with my 0.4mm nozzle on my other printer and it works excellently. I'm printing 0.04 mm and 0.06 mm layers here on my SV08 because I want to print something bigger than my CC can. The reason I'm using the 0.2mm nozzle is mainly because my 0.4mm nozzle is a hig
