Have you bought a 3D printer for FPV?
I resisted for many years, I only got one this winter. I would definitely say it's worth it, I've had loads of fun making useful prints whenever I want to, or even designing my own. As for which printer to pick, I think it mostly just boils down to what you want from it. If you only want it as a too

Best printer for cosplay?
For cosplay you'll probably need a bit more space. I might recommend a sovol sv08 or sv06 plus ace. I have an artillery sidewinder x4 plus s1 that is an absolute beast for only like $230 but it does require a bit of understanding of what's going on and probably isn't the best beginner printer

Best 3d printer recommendations?
I do not recommend the kobra 3 max. I was just helping a peer this weekend and that machine is unreliable to say the least, it does not seem to handle TPU well. For $600, I do have the qidi plus 4, It has its quirks but from what I see, it’s definitely more reliable than the kobra 3. I’d just say, b

Does building a Voron make sense in 2026
Really depends on what your goal is. They do make sense to build. They make LESS sense as a first printer. Given they are made of printed parts... usually the first step is using your existing printer, to build your voron. The Trident IS the correct printer. 300 IS a good decision. Print quality is

I learned something tonight…
Just cranking up "print speed" with the knob doesn't get the job done. First you have to calibrate max flowrate (there a tab for it in orca, also pls read the tutorial on this: https://www.obico.io/blog/maximum-volumetric-speed-test-in-orcaslicer-a-comprehensive-guide/) Next you (most definetly) hav

Another boring question
If you are in it for the hobby factor, maybe you should consider the first reason why 3D printers are a thing. The RepRap https://reprap.org/ project is about building replicating machines for rapid prototyping and which in principle can print parts for themselves. Open source software, hardware and

Are Sovol Printers Good?
It depends on your definition on "good printer". They are having good price to performance ratio, but you will need to do more little bit more maintenance on them than on Prusa or Bambulab printers. Also printing profiles for them will need some slight tuning from you to get perfect results. Yes, So

Is AnkerMake not selling 3D printers anymore?
There was a lawsuit with another company, I think slice engineering maybe. Also I'm pretty sure they were getting their asses kicked in the market by other cheap machines like the sovol sv06 ace, Bambu A1, and the new non-garbage ender3s

3d Printer recommendation?! - so I can print Pebble accessories
I run the 3D printing lab at work, and I get questions all the time about which printer to buy. That answer depends on what you want. A lot of folks have suggested Bambu Labs because they just work, ethical questions aside. If you don't like Bambu Labs, the Elegoo Centauri Carbon is a good choice, b

beginner printer
I'll second this and recommend a Sovol SV06 Ace. Just over that $200 price point and it uses the base versions of Orca Slicer and Kilpper.
