Looking for the best headphones, not ear buds, for listening to film and tv dialogue. Noise canceling, something not bass heavy, but can really focus in on dialogue levels. Bose? Sony? Apple? Thoughts?
Soundcore Space 2 should do just fine for your needs

Noise canceling headphones purchasing advice
I have liked the Soundcore Space 1 after 2 years. Space 2 has good reviews. I agree that Ult Wear on sale is good. Edifier 820 version 2 or 950 version 2 are worth a look.

Any recommendations on earphones?
Soundcore Space 2 or Edifier 820 version 2 or Sony 720 are solid.

Ultra Gen 2s - to keep or not?
I get a fair amount of headphones to review, and the ones I end up using are never the most expensive. I love a budget king, and hate the overpriced stuff. Buds. Earfun air pro 4 (I have Bose, sennheiser, creative, Sony, but none fit and just work like the Earfun) earfun give you the quality and fea

What headphones choose?
If you can, get the Soundcore Space 2. Better noise isolation and long battery life.

I'm just curious if they make headphones that would cancel out the background noise when I'm talking on the phone
Some headphones do have a better microphone. I don't know you budget, but the Sony Ult Wear or wh xm5 or xm6 have decent microphones. I have the Space 1, and it does have better microphone cancelling (although not perfect). I think the Soundcore Space 2 or Space 1 Pro are better because of later mar

Is the Soundcore Life Q30 worth buying, or should I save for Sony ULT Wear?
I have both. If I had to grab one now, it would be the Q30. The ULT are just blubbery bass monsters. Sony at thier worst. The Q30 are old now, and I would suggest the soundcore space 2 instead, but I had many years of enjoyment out of the Q30
