What’s the best Bluetooth speaker people actually recommend these days?
There is no best speaker, there's only the speaker that fits your needs specific to the size you want and the bass extension that you can accept For the medium size, try a Earfun Uboom L or Soundcore Motion 300 For the large size, try the Tribit Stormbox Lava or Soundcore Boom 2 For a Boombox size t

Portable setup / Flx 4 question
Soundcore boom 2 plus. Really good for the price, loud and bassy with lights and a crazy battery life, also hardly any latency when plugged in via aux.

Looking for a new outdoor/poolside wireless speaker
The best options are pretty much the Uboom X, or if you need smaller, the Stormbox Lava or lighter Soundcore Boom 2 Unless you have some very specific needs

What’s a Bluetooth speaker you bought that completely exceeded expectations?
I know of 45 speakers in the same size that are better than the Revolve+ II as it's ranked #46 in its size class Try a Earfun Uboom L, Soundcore Motion 300, Tribit Stormbox Lava or Soundcore Boom 2.

Bluetooth rechargeable speaker option with no delay using aux wired input?
Just got a soundcore boom 2 plus exactly for this. It’s not perfect 0 latency but very very low, imperceptible unless you’re comparing to your headphone cue. It’s a cheaper “party style” speaker so good for starting out

Recommendations on Bluetooth Speakers for playing along and learning by ear?

Tribit Lava is another good portable with deep bass capability. (43hz) . (half the $ of a JBL Extreme and has deeper strong

Best portable speaker for festivals (good price/performance)?
I'd say a soundcore boom 2. Cheap but very decent. Comparable to a JBL Xtreme

I need a portable speaker that won't look too obvious but strong enough for a crowd out at a park
I can recommend the Soundcore Boom 2 and Soundcore Boom 2+ I personally use 2x Boom 2 and 1x Boom 2+ for outdoor parties and they are enough for about 50 people. If the Boom 2+ is too big you can also use 3-4x Boom 2 spread around the dance floor. But honestly you can start with 2x Boom 2 and see if
