WH-1000XM5

I've had the Sony WH-1000XM5 for years now and a million gym sessions. Had beats before that which would constantly break or have parts fall off. They so far haven't missed a beat

The Sony wh…XM line passed Bose in noise cancellation years ago. I have the XM4s and they can be had for like $160 now. Skip the xm5s as they don’t fold. The xm6s fold but they are the latest and greatest and $300. My xm4s are going strong after 4 years now. Absolutely love them.

I have a pair of AudioTechnica ATH-M40x's and they've lasted for six years already. The only major issue with them right now is that the leather ear cups are starting to fray, but I can easily get replacements and fix that. My Sony WH-1000XM5 are also holding up well for almost three years of use.

Well I am not sure if this helps but I listen to a lot of metal music (death metal, black metal, metalcore, hardcore metal etc) and my previous to go headphones were the Sony XM5s. I loved them even over the XM6 and the Sennys, but I ultimately gave up on them after the hinge became a bit cracked. I

The Kindle I bought was a must. I even overpaid, I believe. But that is fine.

Now, I am in the market for the infamous Sony WH-1000XM5 Wireless. And they are almost 90K...

I have a couple of questions:

1. Does sound come out of them if we are listening on 100% volume. (MY ONLY CONCERN)
