The Sony wh…XM line passed Bose in noise cancellation years ago. I have the XM4s and they can be had for like $160 now. Skip the xm5s as they don’t fold. The xm6s fold but they are the latest and greatest and $300. My xm4s are going strong after 4 years now. Absolutely love them.

you went from the most comfortable head phones I've ever used to the xm5's that clamp your head, feel sore after a few hours and have the hinge that breaks? sounds like a down grade.

I have a pair of AudioTechnica ATH-M40x's and they've lasted for six years already. The only major issue with them right now is that the leather ear cups are starting to fray, but I can easily get replacements and fix that. My Sony WH-1000XM5 are also holding up well for almost three years of use.

XM5 has reliability issues. I have WHXM4. They are over hyped with terrible built quality. TWS are not long lasting. They are not repairable also.
