Has anyone done any mending repairs on the fabric on the inside of headphones?

I have a pair of Sony WH-1000XM4 headphones that after I cleaned off the removable earmuff, the fabric adhesive started to come unglued and I am curious if anyone has found a more sustainable long term solution sewing a proper bit back in

I need help choosing noise-cancelling headphones

Hey there!

I've been using Loop Engage 2 Earplugs for a year, but they're not enough for me at work, and sometimes they're not enough even at home when I'm overstimulated and the noise starts to hurt my ear. So I've been thinking about buying a Sony WH-1000XM4 and leaving the Loops for when I go ou

Should I get the Bose QC 45 (not the ultra) or the Sony wh-1000xm4?

Basically what the title states. This is my first time purchasing very expensive headphones and I was wondering which brand would be better suited for me.

The two main things I prioritize are comfort and ANC. I hate anything tight on my head and I really don't want to listen to any outside noise. I

WH-1000XM4. How loud should they be at max volume? Reddit's opinion seems to be all over the map.

I just bought these. IMO, the volume at 100% is relatively loud, but certainly listenable. I'd say the volume at 100% is right where I'd want to be when I'm in rocking out mode, but it could certainly go even higher and I wouldn't mind. FWIW, my hearing is fine.

Yet I see some people say that anyth

Sony WH-1000XM4. All problems.

So, I am planning on finally buying the XM4s as they're of a price I can actually afford. Could everyone point out all the issues that they have had when using them since I have read online that they can have some major issues out of the box.

I would appreciate any review that will tell me all the

Bose QC45 vs Bose NC 700 vs Bose QC 35 II vs Apple AirPods Max vs Sony WH-1000XM4

I've owned each of the Bose models (now have the QC45), and have used the AirPods Max and Sony XM4s as well (I work at a tech retailer).

Throw any questions you have at me!

WH-1000XM4 firmware version 2.5.1 information

I also had the white-noise issue with my first pair and got a replacement. But this time the firmware version 2.5.1 was installed on them as the screenshot shows.

Does anyone knows anything what changed from 2.5.0? Even the official support page only lists 2.5.0 as latest version ([https://www.sony

QC 45 ANC off?

Hello all, I’ve been debating between two pairs of headphones: the QC45 and Sony’s WH-1000XM4. I want to go with Bose but the only thing that is turning me off is the inability to turn off ANC. I want to be able to wear my headphones and still be able to hear my surroundings in certain situations. I
