Well, this is a super old post now. But I have both the WF- and WH-1000XM4. They work great while they last, but they degrade in a couple of years; either battery issues or the noise cancelling needs servicing. However, Sony support has won me over. Even outside of warranty they'll replace or repair

If possible, what is your opinion on how these stack up against the WF-1000xm4's from Sony? Those are my currents and they're failing. I tried the WF-1000xm5's and while they sound better, I feel their shape and materials make for more clumsy handling.
