Which One Of These Headsets Would You Recommend?

I like the Pulse Elite a lot. Had mine since October or November and love how light they are, the sound quality and of course being a Sony product ease of use. People complain the flemsy but to me so far so good. It took a while to get use to the button layout but it’s good with bluetooth playing a

Maxwell 2 vs Maxwell 1; A/B testing impressions

The only other closed back, planar magnetic, wireless headphone is the Sony Pulse Elite. They're also made by Audeze (which is now a division of Sony, since 2023) but reviews all say they're inferior in sound and build quality to the Maxwells.

Maxwell 2’s vs Pulse Elite

I was looking to get the Pulse Elite (it was a reasonable price, about £80 brand new after discount), and iirc, the gadgetrytech guy clearly mentioned that Maxuell has “Way better sound”. For the money, the Pulse Elite are very good at in-game positioning, but I don't remember anything about their a

help! Just a non gamer wife looking for the perfect gift

I’ve used a lot of gaming headsets and have come to the realisation that they’re just not worth it. Most are flimsy with shoddy mics and there is always some type of software problem that will annoy the life out of you. Both the pulse elite and 3d have a terrible habit of just not turning on. I’d re

Anything but pulse elite. Crap. It's like Sony handed it to a chimpanzee to make it instead of their top notch engineering team.

PS5 pro owner, I'm in need of a headset. Any advice?

Agreed!! I have had a white pair for just over a year and they still look brand new. I know some people can be unfortunate but that does happen across all the brands. I initially got the Sony Pulse Elite and had connection issues straight out of the box and they snapped in just 2 months even with ca

Pulse Elite headset broken after less than 4 weeks.

Bro I can't tell you how mad I am. I literally searched the Sony pulse elite headphones breaking, and your Reddit feed is one of multiple conversations about the exact thing. Not only did mine break on both sides just like yours, after I duct taped them back together the speaker lining kept coming o

USB BT Dongle Issues

They work pretty much as they are expected to, I have a pulse elite and every so often it does that too, it’s not really system specific, it has to do with the Bluetooth IC and the cheap components that Sony decided to go with for a lot of the ICs. It’s frustrating that a multi-billion dollar tech g

Just got this ( was this a good purchase) let me know

Would really suggest you to handle them with extra care. I bought them back in May 2025 and I already knew the fact that they are easy to break. After year of usage they started to crack even with very careful handling. I really hate Sony for offering people with such quality headphones. PS: only bo
