I reckon a 2.1 setup with bluetooth should be your baseline if you want decent home cinema without loads of cable. Something like a soundbar + wireless sub is the way to go - like Sony HT-S400 or Samsung HW-C450

Sony TV and Soundbar - volume button lag on remote over eARC
I'm having the same issue too Sony X85K with a Sony HT-S400 soundbar.....not sure what the issue is and was hoping an update would fix it.
