Sony HT-A3000 is just a 3.1 Soundbar, don't waste your money on that.

Funny. I just got a Sony hta5000 new in box for $200 shipped from eBay. Great sound. Friends are amazed. Best Buy wants $479 for ht a3000.

I can confirm this is working on my Sony X90J. I had to make the change in the Spotify mobile app when I was casting to the TV and close/reopen the the TV app. I have the Sony HT-A3000 soundbar connected to it and it sounds a whole lot clearer, especially when the volume is up. Lossless doesn't work

Since you're using a sony, you can definitely try the Sony HT-Z9F which is pretty good, perhaps little bit more expensive. Dude actually brought a Bravia 8 soundbar with full accessories including the pair of rear speakers and sub without even telling me . We were using Sonu HT A3000 with full combo for last 1.5 years and I have to agree his argument better sound effects more the game gets enjoyable

I've never been that impressed with my HT-A3000 either. It just sounds kind of flat most of the time. The only thing that's helped a little is to disable DRC in the settings so that the sound isn't as compressed.
