Lossless now working on Spotify (app and connect/cast)

I can confirm this is working on my Sony X90J. I had to make the change in the Spotify mobile app when I was casting to the TV and close/reopen the the TV app. I have the Sony HT-A3000 soundbar connected to it and it sounds a whole lot clearer, especially when the volume is up. Lossless doesn't work

What's your experience?

I recently got the 55” Sony Bravia 8. The sound quality of the TV by itself is pretty good, especially compared to other flat panel screens. I’m impressed. I have it paired with a Sony HT-A3000 Soundbar that I’m very happy with. I live in a comparably sized room as you, and it suits my needs perfect

What's your experience?

Sonos is a good brand. I’ve heard good things about them. I went with the Sony HT-A3000 because I got a good deal as part of a bundle with the Bravia 8. If you can, I recommend going to listen to it in a store where it’s displayed, so you can see how you like it.

Please help me buy everything, I just moved back to India after 15 years, looking to buy pretty much everything and start from the scratch

Home theater, go with one of the below. Else go with Tanmay Mehta in YouTube. The below is recommended by him. Don't buy online, buy from store. Sony HT-A3000 : Good bass and an overall all rounder Samsung Q 990D : Best for music JBL Bar 1000 : best for movies Regarding TV, there is no more BIFL.

Why gaming is a taboo in Kerala for older people? Genuine question from a 43 year old malayali gamer.

Dude actually brought a Bravia 8 soundbar with full accessories including the pair of rear speakers and sub without even telling me . We were using Sonu HT A3000 with full combo for last 1.5 years and I have to agree his argument better sound effects more the game gets enjoyable

Soundbar help

I've never been that impressed with my HT-A3000 either. It just sounds kind of flat most of the time. The only thing that's helped a little is to disable DRC in the settings so that the sound isn't as compressed.

just got a 75 inch tv and need better sound and looking for the best soundbar deals

No one wants a Sound Bar, but do to circumstances, many people are willing to accept one. And a Sound Bar, even a somewhat cheap one, is still better than the TV Built-In speakers. This was designated the - Sound Bar Killer - and it delivers on that promise - Edifier S350DB and S360DB 2.1 System - (

Sony Core DTS-X

I have the X90L paired with the HT-A3000, along with the SW3 and RS3. Movies with DTS sound loud, majestic, and have good virtual surround effects. I’ve also turned on 360 Spatial Surround Mapping. Atmos tends to sound a little quieter compared to DTS:X, but I did notice subtle effects from the rear

HT-A7000 Sound issues after updating to 1.799 from 4/8/2025

Did you ever fix this? Think I have the same issue with my HT-A3000. I can usually correct it by toggling settings like Sound Field and Voice Mode on/off. But a better fix is to disable Network/Bluetooth Standby on the soundbar. Since I've done that, mine consistently wakes up with optimal performan

Buying an X90L-65 inch this week (India). Anything I need to know before I step into the store?

The “TV as Center Speaker” feature aka “S-Center Speaker Input” lets you use the TV Speakers as the Center Speaker. This only works with the premium sound systems from Sony, the HT-A3000, HT-A5000, Braviabar, HT-A9, Quads, etc. All newer Sony Bravia TVs have this feature, however, the premium TVs th
