Is the Sony A95L still worth it in 2025 over an LG G5 for example ? Id prefer the Bravia 8 II but it's stuck at 65inch...

Sony worth the price tag?
I have 6 Sony TVs (K, J, Lx2 series), Bravia 5/Bravia 9. I think they generally look better than any alternative.. and that's without owning a Bravia 8 II. But it's at least as good as any other OLED out there. Personally, I love their interface, I love their processor, and I love not having to wait

Help choose a tv replacement?
Currently, Sony makes the best quality TVs. If you really care about picture quality I'd look at the Bravia 8 II OLED. If it's just longevity you're after, if take the Bravia 5 MiniLED (2025), due to the inherent degrading properties of OLED.

Is 2026 the year to ditch OLED for RGB Mini-LED or SQD? Confused by the marketing jargon
If you go from an A90J to any TCL you'll be taking a huge step down in image processing and sharpness etc. I'd say either go QD-OLED with the Bravia 8 mk2 or the newly announced Bravia 9 mk2. My A90J is stick going strong but it does have some dead pixels and just utilized my 5yr warranty with geeks

What’s the best TV for PS5 if I care more about color accuracy than brightness?
Sony Bravia 8 II is the best TV out there at the moment. It even won TV of the year in 2025 from HDTVTest’s YouTube channel. They are known for doing the best in-depth testing.

Finally
Put on a uniform grey image and you will see the burn in. My 2018 Galaxy Book 12 that I use at work has an AMOLED screen and (due to work) only gets to display static content. In normal, busy images the uneven wear is not apparently visible but as soon as I have something like a white background fro

55 inch A95L vs 65 inch Bravia 9
The newest Flagship for Sony is the Bravia 8 ii. Note the “ii” this is not the regular Bravia 8. It’s the update to the Bravia 8 and its 65” sells for 4K. It supposed to equal the A95L in most metrics, and had a newer/faster processor. If you have deep pockets it’s the one for 2025. And yes it’s an

Purchasing a new 4K tv

The Samsung and Sony look pretty much identical in every example. Check these timestamps... 37:19 40:10 green tinted sky plus black crushing 47:58 s
