ZV-E1 for $1,414 (Best Buy Open-Box) vs FX3a for $2,900 — am I missing something?

The ZV-E1 is pretty great and would be perfect for family events and travel (using Cinetone for video). I usually pair mine with a Sigma 45mm f/2.8 DG DN (which has lovely bokeh, by the way) and I love how compact the setup is. For that price, I wouldn't hesitate, especially since you already have o

FX3 or R6V

So many fantastic perspectives here. Depending on your needs, you might look at the zv-e1. If you're needing reliable, long takes, skip it. But the ZV-E1 is another reason I've stuck with Sony: size matters to me, and everything about Sony is smaller: the full-size bodies are smaller than the Canon

I fell in love with M43 and i have to tell someone

That would be so cool!! I had Sony a7iv, ZV-E1, Fuji XT5, X100V (bought it for 460€ back then and sold it for 1100€ 4 months later lol) and then some but no camera was even close to my GX9 in fun, lens catalogue and size / weight. I‘d love a M43 camera with 4k60 without crop and otherwise the exact

Saying goodbye to Lumix S9

Sony is much richer in small primes, I'll grant you. Lumix only has the smaller Sigma i's, which are a little heavy because they're all-metal. But the subject is the S9 plus 20-60. It is a simple fact that you can't get a 3x zoom range in a smaller and lighter package on a FF camera even on Sony. Th

Lightweight camera setup for Pacific Crest Trail Doc??

Ya I messed around with a buddy's RX100, and honestly I think that with a magnetic ND Filter would be fine. But I'm going to rock the ZV-E1 just bc I want the extra codec power. I've found a few super light lenses that I think will pair nicely. Check out the Sony E 28-60, and the Sony E PZ 16-50.

S9 vs X-S20 vs A6700 (₹1.6L budget) — cinematic video, open gate & 6K worth it?

If it’s about video I think it has to be the s9. The problems with the s9 are more about using it for photography (lack of evf, mechanical shutter, dials etc). But for video it’s pretty much a half price Sony fx3 or zv-e1 (no evf etc). And those users don’t moan about the lack of evf etc. EVF is goo

Lightweight camera setup for Pacific Crest Trail Doc??

Yeah I second the recommendation of the A6700 and this is coming from someone who owns and loves a ZV-E1. The ZV-E1 is an absolutely amazing value, especially if you buy used, but if I was taking mine on a trip like this I'd probably want the 24-105 F4 OSS lens, though according to the internet that
