Who bought the wrong camera?

I bought the wrong camera many times. First I bought the 2000D without much research and I loved that camera. Canon feels sturdy and reliable to work with. Then because I researched more, I eventually swapped thst one out for the Sony A6100 because the ‘lenses were cheaper and more options’. Before ...

Did I overreach ?

I have a Sony a6100 and a Sigma 30mm f/1.4. You did not make a mistake. I have a good variety of lenses and I always come back to the 30 mm. You may decide to use a zoom lens in the near future, but this is a great lens. Not only to start, but overall.

Hello am looking to buy my first lens as a beginner videographer and I was looking for used lenses and I saw this 2 they both are 400 dollars and I was wondering which one should I go with am planning to use it for mostly short films, car video, food videos and for personal vacation. Cam: Sony a6100

28-75 for sure, super sharp lens and the constant 2.8 aperture is nice. Plus it’s smaller so great for travel when paired with the a6100. I’ve shot dozens of weddings and product shoots with that lens!

I’m convinced…

I was invited to a few events over the past year. I probably won’t be invited back because I just can’t make content off products I don’t personally enjoy. I’m a Fuji lover myself with plenty of cameras from them. I think the XH2S is the best hybrid camera on the market. The x100 line is always fun ...

Zve10 vs A7iii. A7iii has poor AF and colors lil zve10 had lot better AF and colors. Any firmware updates or anything that fixes it ?

if you shoot raw there are no color differences, because raw files don't have any color, it's mostly up to the raw processor and the camera profile that it uses https://blog.kasson.com/the-last-word/roles-of-camera-and-raw-developer-in-determining-color/ zve10 is basically an a6100, so it should hav...

Why does my camera feel trash compared to when i first bought the phone?

Have the Fold 7 now, but felt the same with my S24 Ultra. Felt on par with my Sony A6100 in some conditions, but a year later felt like crap in comparison. Could just be you get used to it, and find it to be so good when new and when it's less shiny become less impressed.

Apple to stop selling iPhone SE and iPhone 14 in Europe as USB-C deadline hits

Lots of people in tech communities are pretty out of touch with what the average person actually has and uses. They upgrade frequently, compare against the best of the best, and frequently overestimate how common new and rising standards are as a result. Yes, USB-C has been around for seemingly fore...

The Tamron 28-75 is an INCREDIBLE lens. 100% go for that one. I use it regularly. If I had to choose just 1 lens to work with for a whole day of shooting, it would be that one (and have done). Autofocus is very fast and responsive on it too, if you’re using it with a Sony (not sure about your model ...

Buying camera for my brother as a graduation gift

This. As someone whose hobby is photography, I would much prefer if people gift me money / ask what I want before buying cameras/gear for me. If your brother is more knowledgeable w/ cameras (I'm assuming you're less knowledgable), please do ask him before buying. If your brother is new to the hobby...
