Comparison between the iPhone 13 Pro Max and the LUMIX S9.
I have found that comparing iPhone pictures with dedicated camera pictures before editing and at low resolutions, the iPhone pictures often look better. The iPhone does a bunch of corrections to the photos to make them more pleasing, and I usually have to put the dedicated camera photos into Lightro

Anybody go from S5IIX to S1RII?
I switched from Sony (a7r5, a1) to Panasonic last year. Picked up the s5iix and a few lenses. I fell in love with video on that camera, and for photos is was pretty good, but nothing I would write home about coming from those two Sony bodies. I’ve since purchased the s9 (which I love for a small wal

To anyone who has shot multiple systems: How do Lumix and Olympus lenses actually stack up against other brands?
This is the usual PoV of a FF user who hasn't used M43 and really has no idea what he's talking about. He is basically repeating internet rhetoric that he hasn't bothered to explore. Ask him which M43 cameras & lenses he's used? If you want an unbiased PoV then check out the numerous Wedding photogr

If dlux is a Panasonic then is M11 a Sony with no autofocus
Can confirm. I shoot both an M11-P and an A7RV and can process them to be identical. Especially when shooting M glass on the Sony.

Real World Reviews for X2D II
Perspective: This is my first digital "medium format" camera (as opposed to someone upgrading from another Hasselblad or Fuji model), and I am a hobbyist in my photography (used to do some professional work on the side, but burnt out from it and focus on my own projects now) I have been extremely im

Bird photography while hiking
Sony a6700 and the a7R5 have the best autofocus on the market. Sony has put that autofocus capability in other cameras but they get very expensive. A zoom lens with ~600mm of zoom will not be light. The Sony 200-600 is excellent and Sony also makes a 2x teleconverter to extend the 600mm to 1200mm. S

Recently got into film after shooting digital for 15 years - Minolta SRT101 with Minolta 58mm f1.2 - Couple test rolls
Thank you! It's really been nice getting into film and shooting for fun again and not for clients. The F1.2 is a beauty. I also got an adapter for my Sony A7rV and it's great on that too. Lesson learnt with it though, not everything should be shot at F1.2 lol

Sony VS Nikon

Options for a FF mirrorless?
I've been shooting all of my vintage lenses on Sony full-frame cameras without any serious issues whatsoever. Some lenses do vignette a little in the corners, but it's nothing you can't easily fix when you edit the raw data. I consistently use the Sony A7R4, A7R5, A1, and A7CR with mostly M42 mount
