$2700 to build a fake micro 4/3 Leica that's the size of a full frame camera. While impressive it's also impressively pointless. It would make so much more sense to just go buy a Sony A7CR for almost the same price.

If it was $3k I would understand it but at $5k it makes no sense just get the Fuji or pay a little more and get a Leica. If you really want a Sony just get the A7CR and a 35 1.8 for $1300 less.

They look really good! This doesn't help me buy one 😅 Great buy! I also left behind a Sony A7CR Now I have the GRIV but the monochrome is still on my mind.

In order of most expensive to least expensive: Hasselblad X2D/X2DII and 38v (roughly 30mm equivalent) Leica Q series Sony A7CR and any number of great lenses. Probably the most rational recommendation. Suggest renting whatever you are leaning towards first. You may be surprised at what you actually

You are in Leica sub. Obviously everyone will pat you on the back on this one as they aren’t your financial advisor and they couldn’t care less. Congrats on Q3 first! What makes you happy is what’s worth. Simple as that! Q3 is one of the best gear out there. But if you are happy with its constrains

I have an om5 and 3 and have used or own several other MFT bodies along with most other mounts and brands. The om5 was one of my favourite bodies for size, weight and abilities for stills until I got the om3. The autofocus on the om3 is the best I have used on any body for subject tracking. I tested

I get it. I am a shill with their video. The gh7 and g9ii are great. I'm a m43 Lumix shill. I got my S1r and S5 bc I was getting into photo (portrait) and thought the next PDAF cameras would be more digital, and people always say they notice a difference now that Lumix has gone PDAF. I do get good p

I've had a fuji since 2019 and only once had one incident where the AWB was way too cool. Otherwise no issues with AWB. Conversely I find myself adjusting the WB on Sony but like I said, I'm still adjusting to the switch. Absolutely no need for 100mp imho. Even before jumping to Sony, I've always ma

Any you can afford. I also shoot on crop, full frame, and film. If you need maximum resolution for best value – Sony A7cr. X100VI/T5 both are great cameras. The choice depends on whether you need compactness or interchangeable lenses. Since I only shoot in 35 mm equivalent, I would choose the x100.

My problem is that while I love shooting with weird things I can't justify device that is both expensive and redundant. Cheap and redundant, but looks great on a shelf and serves as a conversation piece? Great, can do that for couple hundred euro even. But GFX50R (and S too) are in 1500-2000 euro ra
