Moving from Fuji to Lumix (S5 vs S9) for toddler photos & vlogging?

I used both and now have sony a7cii + lumix s9 Do you do pro videography? If not, 8 bit is more than fine and I'd tell you to go for the a7c The s5 is a major downgrade in AF, the s9 AF is still worse than the sony (but good overall) but the build quality feels super cheap and then as you said, no e

First FujiFilm Camera

If your goal is to stay under the radar, I would go for a Ricoh GR III or, if you can afford it, a Ricoh GR IV. I use the silver X-T5 with the silver 23mm f/2.8 as my EDC and it is extremely conspicuous, just like the X-Pro, X100, and even the X-E5. I take photos as a hobby, and my first and only Fu

📸 Mobile Photography 2026: Why the Public is Choosing the Wrong Champion

u do realize leica cameras are kinda shit nowadays, right? u're just paying for the name, not the performance. U don't have the sharpness of a sony, or the color accuracy of a nikon, or the autofocus of a sony, or the detail of a hasselblad, leica is no longer a leader in literally anything, it's ju

Help please. Long time amateur. Want to upgrade but the choices are mind numbing.

For Pete’s sake, PLEASE don’t confuse megapixel “resolution” on a phone camera with “quality.” Even with advanced cameras the resolution absolute numbers has only a very small bearing on image quality. Lenses and physical sensor size are everything. You can look into it for yourself. A very capable

Are Newer Phones Worth It?

my sony a7c ii will take way better pictures than every single phone out there and it's only an entry grade full frame (i bought it because it's compact), now image properly high end full frames and even medium format cameras, phones don't even stand a chance against proper cameras. hell, my old d90

LUMIX S9 vs Sony A7C2 vs Fuji XT50

To be honest Fuji recipes are the same. They are not universal unless you use something like Reggie's Portra which basically looks like modified Provia which is standard color profile in Fujis world. I didn't like Panasonic LUTs at first but after some play with Magic Lut and adjusting it afterwards

Can anyone help with my analysis paralysis to upgrade my gear?

The Sony having bad colours thing is more of a meme than reality. I rarely need to do more than tweak Temperature/Tint in Lightroom. Even for JPEG export you can customize the settings to get something you like better. Not familiar with Indian pricing but it looks like you could probably get a used

What "budget" full frame camera should i opt for?

imo good glass comes first then left over budget on a good enough body. sony a7c is a better cheaper a7iii, but smaller viewfinder and grip if that doesnt matter much, if does, a7iii is a great starting camera. has all the spec needed to keep up and can last a few years at least. Good glass right no
