Not including a Sony option in this is ridiculous. An A7V, A1II, or A9III all could be argued are top of the list. I would argue that the A9III honestly is capable of things for weddings that no other body even is. With a true global shutter and crazy sync speeds it can do things you simply can't ac

But the iPhone has pushed camera innovation in all areas. It’s pushed huge advancements in chip manufacturing and hardware manufacturing in general. I very strongly doubt we’d have cameras with as much processing speed and efficiency as the Sony A7V without advancements largely due to the iPhone. Li

No. You’re drawing completely incorrect conclusions. The Sony a7V has excellent sensor readout speed. Rolling shutter is very difficult to get in electronic shutter mode, especially compared to the previous a7IV. With the a7IV, I always had to switch to the mechanical shutter even when a person was

I would go with a stacked sensor for wildlife. Blackout free shooting is a game changer. I purchased the OM-1ii on the a7v release date as a Sony shooter for wildlife and have no regrets. For Nikon you either get the Z8, or nothing.

In no particular order: Panasonic S1ii Nikon Z8 or ZR Sony A7v Canon R6iii Read the reviews, watch the videos and hold them in your hand and check out the menus. Any of them would do a great job. But there isn't one perfect camera: some have open gate, some have RAW, some have higher frame rates, yo

Which makes total sense given Sony has an explicitly dedicated line of video products now. The FX3 predated the A7IV by a few months but still at the time the FX/ZV line felt less established. They A7V brings their mid range photo camera up to near top specs for photo (Speed and AF near the A1II) an

If you expect fast movement like a propeller spinning or a flying tennis ball choose mechanical. Otherwise you can choose electronic. For wildlife the faster burst rate is helpful with electronic shutter. The Sony A7V has partially stacked sensor which provides you really fast readout speed, almost

I agree. I’m craving action. Burst plus high shutter speeds plus pre capture of the Sony A7V have been so much fun lately.

You’re comparing entry level full frame Nikon with pro-sumer level Sony. If money isn’t an issue, I would be looking at the Z6iii. It’s a better comparison to an A7IV, and possible A7V, whenever that may be released. You could buy the Tamron 35-150 and the Nikon primes now and still use them on your

Sure... Explain my ban then: This was my last comment Post: https://www.reddit.com/r/canon/comments/1s0030j/comment/obqb65k/?context=1 my main point: Canon uses buffer clearing behavior to push users towards their flagship R1 camera. Its not a technical limitation because other companies can do it w
