What’s the difference between Sony and ARRI?
Firstly, let's look at colours (I'm UK so UK spelling). A7IV only shoots continuous in 10 bit. This means if you're filming a 2 minute scene, the Arri's shooting in a genuine 64 billion colours whereas your Sony's only shooting 1 billion. Secondly, dynamic range. If you look at the range, Arris can

A7V vs. FX3 for someone who already owns an A7IV
Sell the A7iv, buy the A7V. Better lowlight (second base iso is 8000 for video), better rolling shutter, better ibis.

I have an FX3A and would like to trade it for a Sony alpha photography camera
Sell the FX3A and use the money to buy an A7RV if you strictly are for stills, or the A7V if you want to take great stills but also have some solid video features. Or you could go for like an A7RIV or A7IV and pick up a nice piece of glass with the leftover cash.

LUMIX rejection on luxe weddings
I've mixed my Lumix S5ii vlog and my second's Sony A7iv slog3 with the same conversation LUT for several years now and literally nobody can tell the difference. Look at my posts and see if there are any giveaways.

Feeling I constantly have the wrong camera
Leicas and Hasselblads I feel are more for the love of photography rather than trying to get the “perfect shot”. They are limited and flawed, some people love those limitations, sometimes people don’t. I think the camera you’re looking for is a Sony A7IV or ACR and a 24-70 for all of your profession

Clients wanting video and photo? 🤷🏻♂️
I have started to occasionally do both video and photo of basic event candid shots and things at corporate events. It's an add-on to videography coverage and is second priority. I make sure they know that I can't capture a non-repeatable moment in both video and photo and will always prioritize capt

Recently bought E-M1 II (used)
And this one has features, my A7II didn't have at this time and never got. Sony put it in A7IV and only with the latest firmware update: focus bracketing. Olympus is ahead of others and - of course - the time

A7V vs. FX3 for someone who already owns an A7IV
Ive been shooting with an FX3 as my A cam and an a7IV as my B cam for a few years now, and they are a great pair. My FX3 usually goes on a gimbal or handheld for b-roll with a 24-70 lens, and for interviews is the wide or medium shot with audio attached to it, while the a7IV gets the 70-200 and is t

Should I replace my Sony A7IV for a Lumix S5IIX?
Yes, A7IV has nowhere near the features S5IIx, talking video, A7IV can give you a little bit more definition in photos but lacks everything else. The only thing Sony is better at is AF. Other than that, S5IIx is better (even low-light, S5IIx has better shadow retention and more "organic" noise). I h

Had my first corporate shoot, second cameras sd card corrupted. (Help)
The thing I don’t get is dual sd card cameras are barely more expensive than single sd card cameras. Take the A7C II vs. the A7IV. The difference is like the cost of a single shoot. If you are doing professional work it’s just an appropriate investment.
