Zve10 vs A7iii. A7iii has poor AF and colors lil zve10 had lot better AF and colors. Any firmware updates or anything that fixes it ?
if you shoot raw there are no color differences, because raw files don't have any color, it's mostly up to the raw processor and the camera profile that it uses https://blog.kasson.com/the-last-word/roles-of-camera-and-raw-developer-in-determining-color/ zve10 is basically an a6100, so it should hav

My friend wants to buy one of these 3 cameras, can you help her decide please?
Squeeze juuust a little bit more and buy the a6100 which has far better AF than any of them plus 4k video. Also she will need better lens than the kit ones

Is 525mm enough for wildlife? Is Sony E mount (APSC) a future-proof mount?
2: Sony is a very future proof mount - more so than M4/3 certainly. Broadly there is no reason to expect any current mount to go away except for financial reasons, and as Sony E is the most used mirrorless mount it is the least likely to go away. 1: Your bigger limitation will likely be the a6000's

Is it worth going with the EOS R50 over the EOS R100?
It depends on what you want to do, how much you might spend in the future, and if you are okay with buying used: The a6100 is a very similar camera to the R50 - both of them have a plastic body, good autofocus, decent video, and very similar image quality. The design of the body is different of cour

Hello am looking to buy my first lens as a beginner videographer and I was looking for used lenses and I saw this 2 they both are 400 dollars and I was wondering which one should I go with am planning to use it for mostly short films, car video, food videos and for personal vacation. Cam: Sony a6100
The Tamron 28-75 is an INCREDIBLE lens. 100% go for that one. I use it regularly. If I had to choose just 1 lens to work with for a whole day of shooting, it would be that one (and have done). Autofocus is very fast and responsive on it too, if you’re using it with a Sony (not sure about your model

looking for my first setup as a beginner
Hi, I have started birds with a6100 and Sony 70-200. It was good enough for large birds like herons or gees, or birds that are very close to you. I had lots of fun. There is alot to learn about the birds besides equipment, so give yourself time and maybe join birds group in your area. Lots of birder

looking for my first setup as a beginner
I think the best compromise of having reach, quality and usable AF would be the a6100 and the Sony 70-350 bought used. Will be a bit more than your budget but a solid setup for the first few years and will give you aproximately 520mm reach. You can upgrade the body anytime and you can keep the lens

First camera?
If you’re coming from a phone and mostly shooting nature, I’d look at an entry level mirrorless kit like a Canon R50, Sony a6100, or Nikon Z50 with the kit lens. All of those are solid for beginners, good autofocus, and way more range than a phone. Later you can add a telephoto zoom for wildlife or

Tiny m43 camera appreciation post (GM1/GM5/GX800)
Stumbled across this in the year 2026 and man do I wish I could grab a GX850 for $200. These days they're around $450-500 for just the body. That's more than any of the slightly larger Olympus PEN Lite bodies, even the newest E-PL10 from 2020! While the GX850 is has 4K video and has a flip up screen
