Are Olympus PRO lenses better than FF third party ones?
The premium M43 glass, Olympus Pro line and Leica-branded Pansonic lenses, are pretty good overall, and were some of the first to show what you could really do with mirrorless lens design. Modern full-frame lenses have eaten into a lot of what was only possible in M43 a decade ago. The Olympus 12-10

A7Riii or A7iii ? For about the same price
The Sony A7R III offers higher resolution (42MP vs 24MP) for greater detail and large prints, while the Sony A7 III excels in low-light performance and offers a superior autofocus system better suited for action and wildlife. The A7 III also has faster burst rates and a more robust buffer, making it

Nikon user returning to Photography After 7 Years off, Nikon Mirrorless or Time to Switch Brand?
Aha, the beautiful 135DC ❤️ It is really relatively easy for the AF-S lenses to work, with AF, on the Nikon and Sony (I not tried them with Fuji or Canon). The AF-D with a very expensive adaptor will workin in AF, but I just use mine manually focused on a cheaper adaptor. Works lovely for portrait wo

Is there anyone who has used both Sony and Olympus cameras?
I have the a6300, a7ii and a7r4. On the Olympus side, I have the OM-1.ii and E-P7. I don't use the kit lens on the Olympus cameras - I mostly use the 12-40/2.8 PRO. The Sony kit lens is shit, and the kit lenses I have for my older Olympus cameras are excellent, and so are samples I've seen online fo

Mosque - before / after
Yes they are! Not sure what camera you're using, but i purchased a tamron 150-500mm for my Sony a7r3. It's been a blast. Got me into wildlife photography too. I bought it used off ebay for like $600 in perfect condition. You can probably find way better deals if you're outside North America You can

Friendly friday reminder: It’s about light
As thorough as DPReview’s testing can be, real world high ISO shots with raw files aren’t their strong suit. I’ve owned a 5D Mark II until 2021 and I’ve used a Sony a7R III quite a bit in my old job, so I thought I could offer some insight on the noise levels. I would be thoroughly happy with delive

Gear that was actually end game for you.
On medium format it was Pentax 645D and than Z. I bought into the Fuji GFX system but don’t click with it. I’m going to sell my GFX 50R and maybe get the 100s or I just ordered a Sony A7R III which is a great upgrade from my 2 original A7’s. Love the A7’s but the better AF and sensor closer to the M

Which camera do you use for carphotography?
I use a Sony A7R III. I'd gladly recommend it, but it lacks the video features you're looking for. You also need to consider lens costs. The kinda lenses you'll need to use for the kinda work you wanna do doesn't come cheap, regardless of whether you're on APSC or full frame. Your budget won't be ad

Should i bother looking into buying a real camera?
Agree with others except camera recommendations. If you go for ANY camera then you'll struggle with 2nd hand lenses. As hobbyist myself, I don't bother with new lenses as of now. Only SONY has that wide cheap secondhand market, even cheap mew ones. Focus on lenses than the camera. What I'll recommen

Z5II or Z8?
z5ii and a7iii share the same sensor. You’re getting better af(?), better user experience, a flipy screen, and you can use Z mount lenses. Yes you can adapt EtZ but I wouldn’t unless you need both systems for very specific reasons. I would say if there’s a Z lens that you really like the rendering,
