First half a year of owning a camera
Sony A6700I was a bit scared that I might find aps-c lacking, but it easily handled everything I thrown at it :)

First camera purchase (under 2 lac) Looking for advice
Since you don't mind buying APS-C, you can look at the Sony a6700. 4K60p with little to no crop plus 4K120p with a sizeable crop. It has IBIS as well.

Am I missing something?
The point OP is making is valid and it's a hard pill for some of the people in our community to swallow. We often have posts on here talking about how wonderfully small and compact, yet capable our cameras are, which is true of the older M43 bodies - it's certainly the reason I joined the M43 platfo

Got a new lifer on Easter Sunday! Green Heron
I am using the Sony a6700 with 70-350mm lens. This is not a full-frame setup, so my images aren't as high-res, but I chose it for how lightweight and easy to carry it is. Most professionals(which I am not) use full-frame for the highest detail possible, but that type of equipment is a bit heavier an

Ricoh IV confirmed in development
It’s a BSI sensor, probably the same from the Sony A6700, so dynamic range could be a little better

Nikon Z6 iii or Z8
Thank you for this info. Very helpful. If I was going to stay APS-C I would probably just keep my Sony a6700. It’s a great camera, just not full frame. The other option is the Sony a7 series which would save me money on batteries and flash since they are the same as the 6700. I believe the a7iv is s

Any tips for THE camera?
If you're not afraid of selling on marketplaces then it's perfectly fine to try a cheaper body in a brand ecosystem (Sony/Canon/Panasonic etc) then later sell and upgrade while keeping lenses which are equal if not more important. There are photographers who still shoot beautiful pictures on cameras

Camera recommendation for disability.
i dont think a camera that fits all of these criteria exists, certainly not a full frame F mount body that’s lighter than the D80. something like the sony a6700 would be a good fit for the size/weight/IBIS capability BUT it’s APS-C and obviously wouldn’t be able to autofocus with F mount lenses. hop

Sony A7C vs a6700 -- is it worth the extra money?
If you want a more compact setup, need more reach (wildlife, birding), plan to shoot video or use third-party strobes - get A6700. It's arguably the best APS-C on the market, and it is great. The sensor readout speed is amazing for video, and it has a proper full-mechanical shutter so you won't have
