Do no expect EVF, flash or weather sealing anytime soon
I estimate it wouldn’t sell. At given Ricoh pricing, they would have to compete with the Sony A7c II and A6700 and some Fujis, the Sonys have way better AF and an arsenal of lenses to choose from. As product managers use to say:”Never listen to enthusiasts if you don’t wanna go broke”.😎

APS-C for macro?
I'll start this off by clarifying I only have experience with Sony & Olympus / OM systems. I've tried to use the Sony A6700 and the Sony 90mm for handheld insect macro photography and eventually gave up. The sensor readout time and buffer were too slow for my style of photography. I ended up going w

Is there anyone who has used both Sony and Olympus cameras?
I currently shoot an A6700. I previously shot m43 for 10 years, with these cameras: EM5 mark1, EM5 mark2, EM1 mark2, Lumix GX9. With regard to sizes, it's not as straightforward as you might think. APSC has really caught up in compact lenses. But the absolute smallest ones like 14mm f2.5, 15mm f1.7,

Guys can you please suggest me the best camera under 2L?
True. But for safari photos, an a6400+200-600 would be a better combo than a6700+70-350

OM-3 or A6700 for travel?
I don't shoot video, so I can't practically answer that, but the a6700 is better from what I understand. I still have a small Fuji kit. The difference in low light between modern APS-C and modern M43 is minimal enough that it isn't a consideration for me. Olympus has a better lens selection. The len

Missing Fuji lately and hoping the af has a big improvement on the xt6.
I appreciate that. I've shot Canon, Nikon, Fuji and Sony for several years each over the last 20 years. It comes down to the colors and rendering of Fuji for me. I want something as an edc that produces the colors I like without needing to heavy lift in post to get what I want out of them. Sony is t

Looking at camera and gear options in the range of £2000-£2800
a6700 has a 1.5x crop sensor and turns 20mm to 30. Is it wide enough for your use? For wildlife, 300/450 is a bit short. I think the cheapest camera with PreCap probably is the OM-1.1 and you can pair it with 100-400 II (Mk II has Sync IS, IBIS + OIS, but not I. Sync IS allows you to shoot slower SS

Stick or switch from Nikon ecosystem?
The a6700 is an apsc body for FF price.. it’s nice, but even my a6100 has the great AF(a6100 on sale cost me less than half the price of the a6700). I’d say a6400 is Sony’s best price-performance spot ..and with the E-mount you can actually afford the focals you want - Sigma&Tamron for max quality,

Staying under $700 for wildlife is… not easy or that high quality if you go with an interchangeable lens camera because you also have to buy the lens. And 400mm is the typical minimum focal length for APS-C, 600mm for full frame. And these lenses aren’t cheap. They generally start (new) around $1000
