First Paid Gig Feedback?

Shot and edited this reel for an adventure publication, end client was a boot brand. The brief was to showcase 5 Winter Essentials so I went for a warm, cozy feel in the grade.

Overall the publication and client were both super happy with the end product, though l'd still love to hear any feedback

Will I regret buying the FX30 instead of the FX3?

Hey guys!

So long story short, I’m a videographer that makes social media content and plans on shooting some client work on the side to get some extra income.

I’m currently shooting on a Sony a6400 with a Tamron 17-70mm f/2.8 and a Sigma 30mm f/1.4. The only things missing in my opinion are a wid

Switching from ZV-E10 to A6400, am I making the right choice?

Is there any reason for the switch? They sre basically the same camera but with the a6400 builth with better materials and a viewfinder (and maybe weather sealing?), otherwise the E10 is the more latest of the two sporting gyro data recording and a type-c port

With the tech of modern phones what are your thoughts on dedicated cameras

I bought a Sony a6400 a couple of years ago with a nice lens. Spent ages looking forward to it, and honestly, it’s great. It takes great photos and video.

There’s no doubt that if you want to take the best quality photos or video, perhaps for your work, you need to get equipment dedicated to it. Pr

Switching from ZV-E10 to A6400, am I making the right choice?

If you are shooting photos, go with the a6400. If not, stay with the ZV series, and if you have money, buy whatever you want that will make you happy. Both are excellent, so there is no bad choice here.

DSLR camera looking super poor quality

You’re missing a capture card. The a6400 needs something like the Elgato Cam Link 4K connected via HDMI output. You’re not going to get great quality directly connected to the PC. You should be able to get 1080p out of a direct connection but that higher quality image is usually done via HDMI output

Which camera to buy? A6400 VS XT30III (or II)

I've been stuck on this dilemma for way too long. Here's the thought process.
I've been looking for a travel / edc camera which is also my first camera. I probably will be sticking with this camera for a very long time, likely not even changing from the kit lens. Also note that I live in a Southea

xQc everytime he sees Pokimane

im not super sure how the show was being run, but if they're showing her camera from zoom it's entirely possible that the "HD" option was deselected on her end. it's off by default and it's kind of in a weird spot, so it doesn't seem impossible. zoom itself is also not greaaaat for quality, so my be

Sony a7siii or Blackmagic 4/6k as upgrade path for semi-pro?

Hi, looking for some buying advice, and apologies in advance for an often asked question but I highly value any advice from people with more experience.

Short story: I’m a professional musician who invested some savings into camera gear when COVID hit. It was a solid move and I was able to make a d

Is A6400 that bad as compared to the iPhone 15 pro in videos for filmmaking?

I really wish they’d stop using BS marketing terms like "crop sensor"; it was designed by Canon marketing to make people feel bad for not owning a 5D mk II, like a Super 35-size APS-C sensor was somehow laughably inferior to a 135 Format-sized sensor. Do you think the sensor on the iPhone 15 isn’t m
