Milky Way view from Australia
Recently went on a week holiday for family and took the opportunity with bottle 3-4 skies to try my hand with some milky way shots. Very happy with how this turned out given how unplanned it was.

ITAP of a lavender field at night
This is a composite shot on my Sony a6400 and the Sigma 10-18mm f/2.8 lens, used at the widest aperture and shortest focal length. I shot the foreground and sky separately. The former is a single 10" exposure at ISO4000, with a bit of light painting using my phone's torchlight. The starry sky is a s

APS-C has enlightened me as a former full-frame user.
TL;DR: I used to shoot with a Canon EOS R (full-frame) but switched to a Sony a6400 (APS-C) after a few years without a camera. Initially, I worried about missing full-frame benefits like better noise handling and bokeh, but I quickly adapted. The a6400’s light weight surprised me, and despite some

Wildlife photography…Crop Sensor or Full Frame?
am not a professional. but i feel with that budget crop sensor, spend money on the lens. something like the a6400+sony 70-350G should leave you with money to spare for accessories. I have that setup, and it take super sharp pics of birds and wildlife.

RAW vs edited photos storage
I'm using Immich for quite a long time, and it replaced my Google Photos from day one. However, I have a use case that is not covered by Immich nor Google Photos nor any other service I know.
I have a Sony a6400 and I also shoot film sometimes. I call these as my "Pro" photos, not because I'm a pr

First Paid Gig Feedback?
Shot and edited this reel for an adventure publication, end client was a boot brand. The brief was to showcase 5 Winter Essentials so I went for a warm, cozy feel in the grade.
Overall the publication and client were both super happy with the end product, though l'd still love to hear any feedback

Comprei essa Sony para iniciar na fotografia, por enquanto como hobby, mas futuramente pretendo trabalhar na área.
