On Sonos ecosystem (2 Arcs, 3 Sub 4s, Plenty of Move2s, Fives, Arcs). Full into Ubiquiti ecosystem. Never had any issues with Sonos. Most of the horror stories you read can usually be root caused to people having shitty WiFi.

I have the sonos arc ultra pair with two era 100's and a play 5 and I don't even need a sub. And it can get ridiculously loud and itnsounds incredible for a wireless system. The play five alone might be one of the best single speakers I've ever had. I've never been able to afford a good hifi system.

I don’t find the volume to be an issue. In fact I’d say the outboard speakers balance well with the soundbar. I have no idea how the software works. Update: SONOS Arc Ultra + two Five (+the headphones) has been working really well - easy to set up (especially with ChatGPT) and awesome sound for both TV and Music (set the Fives for surround but with extreme bias towards the Fives for music)

I have not had any issues with SonosNet enabled with my system. Nine speakers with five of them wired. I have not disabled it. It just works for me.
