Era 100

Today I got to listen to 2 Era 100’s and a Sonos Arc and I’m surprised that for the price point they sound worse than my $100 Edifier Bookshelf speakers! Am I imagining this or do Sonos speakers sound robotic and a bit “un-dynamic” if that makes sense?

I currently have 6 Mirage satellite speakers mounted on the ceiling like the 2 seen in this photo. I really want to upgrade to much better speakers but am having difficulty choosing which kind (satellite, bookshelf, floor standing, etc.) and where to place them given the odd layout of this room.

It's going to depend a lot on the room (shape, surfaces, speaker placement) and what you're going for or what you didn't like about the other ones you've tried. I’ve had problems with stereo pairing Era 100s in the Sonos app. It’s always dropping a speaker and my Sub.

How can I do this with SonoSequencr instead?

I don’t have much experience with Sonos, so take this as you will. Just looking at the Era 100 specs, you will need a phono stage with a DIN connection or a DIN to RCA adaptor if your phono stage doesn’t have a DIN input, a cable to connect the phono stage to the Sonos Line-In adaptor (something lik
