I think Skullcandy is changing up the way they do controls on their newer headphones. They seem to be using a joystick for most of the functions (Volume/playback control), and a separate button that powers them on, and allows for you to toggle the ANC/stay-aware modes on or off. I got my crusher evos in winter 2020 for 135$ and they still still kickin. I highly reccomend both those and the anc 2s. I have beat the HELL out of both pairs abd they have taken all abuse and me using them 5 to 8 hours a day working with electronics repair. I've dropped them ive accidently burned
