540's are essentially Crusher Evos. Differences being the earpads, a tighter fit, and a nano coating. I've had evo's for 4.5 years and still use them over anything I have. I think people underestimate the effects of the bass-y "THUMP" There is a noticeable delay between the kill and initial THUMP, alongside the time it takes for the audio to drown out, hence kills feel less responsive. This is especially noticeable once I tried playing with my super bass-y headphones

Skullcandy Crusher Evo. Only cans on the market (that I know of) that have rumble packs in them. They will shake your soul if you turn the bass slider all the way up. Honestly, I never turn mine up past 25 - 30%. Probably the most fun you'll ever have wearing headphones if you're into bass music.
