Why cant I use a custom EQ for the C540's?
Unfortunately they dont support custom EQ. The 540s are literally "reskinned" (barely even that) Crusher EVOs advertised for fitness. Why cant I use a custom EQ for the C540's?
Tbh at this point I don't really bother with the Skullcandy app when I use my Crusher 540s. I have them plugged into my FiiO BTR15 and use my own PEQ filter with them, which is WAY more advanced than Skullcandy's 5-band EQ that is present a lot of their newer headphones.
