How is this e-model worse than the S1R II proper? Man I hope it's more a sigma fp-l vs Leica SL3 interpretation :)

The Sigma FP and FP L are both smaller than the S9, but they have some quirks. No IBIS is a big one. Bad autofocus is another. I love my FP L, but it’s a very “special” little camera. Everyone saying there are no other options, need to google.

Not a lumix body but the Sigma FP and Sigma FPL are l-mount and smaller. They have a lot of drawbacks but yeah just putting it on your radar if you didn’t already know about them!

I’ve been chasing this camera for years. I’ve had the xa1, xm5, x100 (1, 2, 3 and 5), MFT, Sony Nex options etc etc etc. One thing I’ve found is there are always compromises. Small lenses aren’t as good as big lenses. So yes Sonys 20 and 16 are soft. But they fit in your pocket. You have to choose o

Be prepared for bad AF. Even the go-L which has better AF is still bad. E shutter has quirks and sigmas version has banding in weird lighting. Both sigma and Panasonic have movement issues when things get diagonal. And no hot shoe/flash. I tried both the fp-L and S9 to replace an xm5/xe4. I loved th

I believe my solution might be relevant to the conversation and might offer a good alternative in terms of compactness, affordability and compatibility. For reference I'm using a Sabrent 1Tb 2230 M.2 NVMe for still and 4K 12-bits CDNG recording. Performance and thermals are good. That particular dis
